It’s just two weeks to the general elections and defection hasn’t seized among Nigerian politicians yet. Although he had earlier decided to make the move, Yakubu Dogara waited until Tuesday’s plenary session in the house before he officially renounced APC and informed his colleagues that he now belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
After the official announcement, the speaker did not explain the reasons for his defection. He merely announced that some other two members have equally defected too.
