Anthony Joshua has crossed the $200 million mark in career earnings, joining the ranks of boxing’s top earners and outpacing heavyweight rival Tyson Fury and rising star Gervonta Davis. In 2024 alone, Joshua pulled in $75 million from fights, placing him just behind Mexican champion Canelo Alvarez, who slightly edged Joshua with off-ring earnings.
While Fury’s earnings reached $150 million this year, he still trails Joshua by a notable margin. Davis has also made significant strides, banking $50 million in career earnings, with recent bouts boosting his financial standing.
Joshua’s ascent began with his $65 million payday in the Saudi rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr., followed by over $40 million from his clashes with Oleksandr Usyk. His face-off with Francis Ngannou added another $50 million, and he continues to draw substantial earnings, including $12 million each from fights against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius.
Currently recovering from recent injuries, Joshua aims for a 2024 comeback, possibly eyeing a clash with Fury. Promoter Eddie Hearn emphasized the importance of Joshua’s next chapter, stating, “We need to make sure we get it 100 percent right.”
