The message says, in part, “I have been involved in Kogi State politics for a long time. I have worked for former Deputy Chief of Staff to the President Chief Olushola Akanmode and former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bayo Ojo, and we are prepared to work for you.

“The party has continued to get defectors from different parties, notably Hon. Samuel Omale, a stalwart of the PDP in Ojoku Ward, and his team of followers. Additionally, some APC members defected to AA, declaring their commitment to seeing the governorship candidate’s wealth building program through. He spoke.

In a same vein, Mr. Samuel Omale, a former PDP supporter in the Ojoku ward who just switched to AA, gave the new members a mission to visit all the corners of the local government to solicit support for Otunba Olayinka Braimoh and his running companion, Alhaji Yahaya Tijani Imam.

In response, Braimoh addressed the new party members and his supporters present at the defection ceremony that he is working to eradicate poverty from Kogi State and its inhabitants through the implementation of his STAT Agenda, which stands for Solid Minerals Development, Trade, Agriculture, Trade, and Tourism.

He continued by saying that his agenda for the state would ensure that everyone had access to food, pointing out that Kogi state was not supposed to be in need given its wealth of natural and human resources.

In an effort to lift the state out of poverty, he asked for more Ankpa voters’ support.
