APC victory in Ekiti election as Governor Biodun Oyebanji celebrates re-election

APC victory in Ekiti election has reinforced confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s reform agenda, according to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

Yilwatda said the APC victory in Ekiti election, alongside strong performances in recent bye-elections, showed that voters support the party’s development-focused policies despite current economic challenges.

He praised Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election, describing it as a reward for effective leadership, prudent resource management and visible development projects across Ekiti State.

The APC chairman argued that the result proves that performance remains a decisive factor in elections. He added that voters responded positively to investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture and youth empowerment.

Furthermore, Yilwatda linked the APC victory in Ekiti election to wider support for President Tinubu’s economic reforms, which he said are laying the foundation for long-term national growth and stability.
