- Decision Confirms Leadership Amid Previous Legal Disputes

- Follows Earlier Federal High Court Judgment Supporting Abure
The Court of Appeal has reaffirmed Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), solidifying his leadership amid previous legal controversies.
In a post shared on the party’s X (formerly Twitter) account, the Labour Party announced, “Barr Julius Abure remains the LP National Chairman, Appeal Court Rules.”
Confirming the decision, the party’s Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, verified the development during a brief phone call.
This judgment follows an earlier ruling by a Federal High Court, which also recognized Abure as the legitimate leader of the party, putting to rest lingering disputes over the chairmanship.
