Arsenal confirms four players to miss Napoli clash

Arsenal have confirmed that the likes of Denis Suarez, Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck will all miss their Europa League quarter-final second leg tie against Napoli on Thursday night.

According to a statement released through the club’s official website, Suarez, Bellerin, Holding and Welbeck are all currently injured.

Arsenal defeated Napoli 2-0 in the first leg encounter last week Thursday at the Emirates Stadium.

“Denis Suarez has a groin injury which has seen the Arsenal midfielder remain in London, while defenders Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding are continuing their rehabilitation from long-term absences.

“The other man missing for the Gunners is forward Danny Welbeck. He is stepping up his training at the minute but is nowhere near ready for a return to the side, certainly not for a match of this magnitude,” the statement read.
