Tunji Wusu –
On August 21, 45 new ministers who would make up the Federal Executive Council (FEC) were sworn in by President Bola Tinubu.
The president urged the ministers to work together with him and with one another during the ceremony, which was held at the Conference Center of the State House in Abuja, to help the Nigerian people realize their goals through their work in government.
“We are in this boat, even though it is a car, and I am driving. The entire Nigerian population is sitting in the back, watching as you and I drive this car. In order to live up to the expectations of all Nigerians, we must keep each other accountable and perform our duties.
You are a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not of a certain state, colony, area, or ethnic nationality, as I previously stated, President Tinubu added.
