Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, has expressed his sorrow on the passing of Hon. Danlami Dan Inna Likoro, the party’s candidate for the Kudan Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly in the general election of 2023.
An official statement that Atiku personally signed on Monday expressed his condolences.
The Herald is able to confirm that Likoro passed away on Sunday, immediately after dispensing zakat, following a brief illness.
From 2011 to 2019, Likoro served as the Kaduna State House of Assembly’s representative for the Kudan Constituency.
“I was saddened to learn of the passing of Hon. Danlami Dan Inna Likoro, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate running for the Kaduna State House of Assembly’s Kudan Constituency in the upcoming general elections.
“Hon. Danlami has made significant contributions to the growth of our great party and Kaduna state. He was a devoted member of the party and a strong supporter of democracy.
“I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and the PDP family. May Allah pardon his transgressions and bestow upon him Aljannah Firdaus,” stated Atiku.
