Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny and American rapper Kendrick Lamar emerged as the biggest winners at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, held on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Bad Bunny made history by winning Album of the Year with “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos,” marking the first time a Spanish-language album has claimed the prestigious prize. The global music icon also took home Best Música Urbana Album for the same project, Best Global Music Album, and Best Global Music Performance for his song “Eoo.”

Kendrick Lamar dominated the rap categories, winning five Grammy Awards on the night. He clinched Record of the Year for “luther,” a collaboration with SZA, and also won Best Rap Album for “GNX.” His involvement in “Chains & Whips” by Clipse earned him another win for Best Rap Performance, alongside Pusha T, Malice, and Pharrell Williams.

In the songwriting categories, Billie Eilish won Song of the Year for “Wildflower,” co-written with her brother Finneas O’Connell. British soul singer Olivia Dean was named Best New Artist, cementing her rising status in the global music scene.

Other major winners included Lola Young, who won Best Pop Solo Performance for “Messy,” while Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande claimed Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Defying Gravity.” Pop icon Lady Gaga won Best Pop Vocal Album for “Mayhem.”

In the visual and global categories, Doechii secured Best Music Video for “Anxiety,” while Brazilian legends Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethania won Best Global Music Album for “Caetano e Bethania Ao Vivo.” The award for Best Song Written for Visual Media went to “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters.

The 2026 Grammy Awards celebrated musical diversity, cultural impact, and global excellence, with historic wins highlighting the growing influence of non-English music on the world’s biggest stage.
