Barcelona have identified Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, as a perfect strike partner for captain, Lionel Messi and striker, Luis Suarez.
According to Spanish newspaper, Sport, the La Liga champions have contacted the Red Devils over the possibility of signing the 21-year-old England international in this summer’s transfer window.
The report claimed that Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde, wants a major overhaul in his squad ahead of next season after a devastating Champions League campaign and their Copa del Rey final 2-1 defeat to Valencia last month.
The report also claimed that Man United will demand a fee of around of €100million for Rashford.
Rashford scored a goal in England’s 3-1 defeat to Netherlands on Thursday night in the UEFA Nations League semi-final encounter.
The youngster will now hope to lead The Three Lions to victory when they tackle Switzerland in the competition’s third-place fixture next week
