Governor Bala A. Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of eight additional Special Advisers, aiming to bolster governance and ensure the effective execution of the state’s development programs. The Governor’s decision was confirmed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, who noted that the appointments were carefully made to reflect the state’s diversity and inclusivity.

The new appointees are expected to contribute their expertise and dedication to furthering the Governor’s vision for good governance, inclusive policies, and impactful programs for the people of Bauchi State. The appointed Special Advisers include Alh Danladi Mohammed Danbaba (Humanitarian Affairs), Hon. Sani Mohammed Burra (State/National Assembly Matters), Hon. Yakub Ibrahim Hamza (Higher Education), and Hon. Shitu Zaki (Political Matters), among others.

Governor Mohammed congratulated the appointees, urging them to serve with integrity, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility to the people of Bauchi. The new appointees, along with three others appointed earlier, will be formally sworn in on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Council Chambers of the Governor’s Office in Bauchi.
