Bayelsa Queens travel to Morocco for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Bayelsa Queens have safely arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, for the start of the second CAF Women’s Champions League on Sunday.

The Prosperity Girls arrived in Morocco on Sunday and are anticipated to play some warm-up friendlies there before the competition begins. The Prosperity Girls are in Group B and will face Mamelodi Sundowns, Wadi Degla, and TP Mazembe in the group stage.

The Prosperity Girls, who took part in the competition’s initial iteration but were eliminated at the group stage, are aiming for a spot in the semifinals of the women’s club championship to make history as the first Nigerian club to advance that far.
