The Benue State House of Assembly has dissolved its former principal officers and appointed new lawmakers to key leadership positions.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, September 11, 2025, by Zape Michael Upaa, Press Secretary to the Speaker, the reshuffle introduces both majority and minority leadership changes.
New Majority Leadership:

New Minority Leadership:

The statement noted that the reorganisation aims to strengthen the Assembly’s legislative work, adding that further details would be made public in due course.
