On Monday, the Supreme Court affirmed Hyacinth Alia’s election to the position of Benue State governor.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Titus Uba, its candidate for the Benue governorship, lost their appeal before the Supreme Court.
Hyacinth Alia’s election as the governor of Benue state has been confirmed by the gubernatorial election petition tribunal and the Abuja court of appeals.
Uba petitioned the supreme court for remedy because he was unhappy with the rulings.
