The owner of Topfaith Group of Schools, Dr. Emmanuel Abraham, addressed the exit students at the 19th graduation ceremony of the College over the weekend and said that the $1,000 cash prize given to the top graduating student was in accordance with a long-standing policy of giving such an amount to her top student over the previous 19 years.
The greatest graduate, according to Abraham, stood out among the brightest, earning 340 points on the most recent Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam. One of the students also received the highest scores in physics and biology on the Cambridge exam.

“We have been treating our top graduating students in this way for years. We ask corporate entities and private individuals to support us in our efforts to inspire and motivate the brightest minds in our educational system.
His advice to the graduating students was to manage their achievement and “should not allow their success to get into your head.” He recalled that the graduating class was among the best groups that had embraced the entrepreneurial spirit as represented in the college’s mission.
“However, I should point out that success has its own difficulties. Create a mindset that enables you to manage success. Remember that the first graduation ceremony began with only 23 pupils several years ago and that the number has climbed to 170 in 2023. Don’t get inebriated and enraged by the amount of success when it comes unexpectedly, he said.
Dr. Paul Okpara, the event’s chairman, urged the graduates to display a high level of discipline in all of their endeavors because achievement at school might have an impact on society at large.
Topfaith School is one of the institutions with the fastest growth, according to Gabriel Egbe, registrar of the University of Calabar, who also stated that the owner has had a significant impact on society’s educational system.
