Bayer Leverkusen secured a 1-0 victory over AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Victor Boniface scoring the decisive goal in the second half. This win marks Leverkusen’s perfect start to the campaign, putting them at six points after their opening 4-0 win against Feyenoord, while Milan remains without a point following a 3-1 loss to Liverpool.

Boniface’s goal came just six minutes after the break when he netted a rebound after Milan keeper Mike Maignan parried a shot from Jeremie Frimpong. Leverkusen had dominated possession and chances in the first half but struggled to convert until Boniface capitalized on his opportunity.

Despite Milan’s resurgence in the second half, where they pressed for an equalizer, they could not find the net. Leverkusen’s defense held strong, with goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky making a crucial late save from Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Milan manager Paulo Fonseca introduced Alvaro Morata in the 62nd minute, but the striker missed a key chance to score.
