The Premier League team announced on Friday that Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo had been acquired by Bournemouth from Bristol City in the Championship.
The forward will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract, with a one-year extension option for the club.
Semenyo, 23, participated in Ghana’s matches against Portugal and Uruguay at the 2014 World Cup in Qatar, when he came off the bench.
“Antoine is a talented player who we have been keeping an eye on for a while. We’re happy to welcome him to the club because he had interest from abroad, said chief executive Neill Blake.
Semenyo joins Darren Randolph and Dango Ouattara as Bournemouth’s third additions during the current transfer window.
