BREAKING: BOBRISKY SENTENCED TO SIX MONTHS IN PRISON.

Idris Okuneye, a popular Nigerian crossdresser also known as Bobrisky, has been sentenced to prison.
The crossdresser was jailed for six months with no possibility of a fine for ‘Abuse of Naira’.

The verdict was delivered this morning, April 12.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged Bobrisky with six counts of money laundering and abuse of the naira.

The court, however, dropped the money laundering accusations but convicted him of Naira Abuse after he admitted to the offense. The court also ordered that he be remanded in EFCC custody in Lagos.

The judge had scheduled a hearing for judgment in the matter for April 9. The court, however, was unable to sit owing to the Eid-Fitri public holiday, which ran from April 9 to April 11.

Meanwhile, Charly Boy has decried the arrest of Bobrisky, a prominent Nigerian crossdresser.

Bobrisky was detained on April 3 and arraigned in court last Friday, April 5, for Naira abuse.

After pleading guilty to the offense, the court ordered that he be held in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) custody until April 9 for sentence.

Responding to the development, Charly Boy encouraged the Commission to address more significant issues afflicting the country.

Speaking on Instagram, he encouraged the EFCC to find “better things to do” and leave Bobrisky alone, as he is not Nigeria’s problem.
