BREAKING: FORMER CBN GOVERNOR GODWIN EMEFIELE IS GRANTED BAIL BY THE COURT

Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), was granted bail by the Federal High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which was convening in Maitama on Wednesday.

Justice Olukayode Adeniyi granted Emefiele bail.

Nonetheless, he gave his attorneys instructions to have him appear in court on November 15, when he is expected to be charged in connection with an earlier EFCC indictment against him and another individual before a different judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.
