BREAKING: MIYETTI ALLAH MEMBERS STORM ABUJA COURT, DEMAND PRESIDENT’S RELEASE.

Members of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore gathered at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday to show solidarity and demand the immediate and unconditional release of their president, Bello Bodejo.
Bodejo was arrested on January 23 following a search on the Miyetti Allah office in Nasarawa State’s Karu Local Government Area on suspicions of forming a vigilante group.

The Defence Intelligence Agency has held Bodejo since his arrest, which has raised serious concerns among Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore members.

In response, on February 5, the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), filed an ex parte motion demanding Bodejo’s continued remand awaiting the completion of current investigations and his eventual arraignment.

Justice Inyang Ekwo, ruling over the case in the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, initially ordered Bodejo’s remand for 15 days.

Following the expiration of this period, the court directed the Federal Government to file formal accusations against Bodejo within seven days.

This directive was issued amid mounting tensions and calls for due process and openness in the handling of Bodejo’s case.

As the case progressed, no charges were filed against Bodejo before the deadline, resulting in growing support for his release.

In a further development, Bodejo’s legal representation filed a request arguing for his client’s unconditional release, underlining the legal and humanitarian reasons for such action.

This move is scheduled for consideration today, marking a watershed moment in the case that has sparked widespread public and media interest.
