Residents of Igbope, Kishi, and other nearby communities in Oyo State are stranded following the collapse of the bridge that connects these areas. The bridge, situated between Igbope in Oorelope Local Government Area and Kishi in Irepo Local Government Area in Oke Ogun zone, was washed away by floodwaters.
This bridge serves as a crucial link for economic, social, and agricultural activities in the region. Its collapse has left thousands isolated, and with no repairs made so far, the bridge’s absence has paralyzed social and economic activities in the area.
