On Monday, Kano’s mayor, President Muhammadu Buhari, officially opened the bridge at the Hotoro roundabout.

The three-step junction is named after President Muhammadu Buhari and is located between the Kano bypass route and the Kano-Maiduguri road. It was funded by a N8 billion bank loan.

The renovation would improve traffic flow on the important road that connects Kano to the northeastern areas of the nation.

The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority contributed $16 million to the construction of the 10 Megawatt Kano Solar Power Project, which was also inaugurated by the President.
The jubilant President expressed satisfaction with the caliber of work done with the installation of the solar power plants while being accompanied by the host governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, and the chairman of the NSIA Board of Directors, Farouk Gumel.

The National Tier IV Data Center, which is situated on Ahmadu Bello Way, was also inaugurated by the President. The Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy built the center.

Additionally, Mr. Buhari dedicated the Aliko Dangote Ultra-Modern Skill Acquisition Centre, Zaria Road; the Dala Inland Dry Port in Zawachiki; the Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital’s Cancer Treatment Center; and a Federal Government Housing Unit in Gandun Sarki, Darmanawa.

The President praised Mr. Ganduje for the improvements in the state’s infrastructure that were made possible by him.
