BUHARI GIVES CONDOLENCES TO SUNNY ADE’S WIFE, RISIKAT

On Wednesday, in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, President, Muhammadu Buhari has sympathized with renowned maestro singer King Sunny Ade, over the death of his wife, Risikat Adegeye.

The deceased who was a member of the 6th Lagos State House of Assembly.

According to the statement titled, ‘President Buhari condoles with King Sunny Ade, Lagos state govt over passing of Hon. Risikat Ajoke Adegeye,’ “condoles with the Lagos State Government, House of Assembly members, her friends and political associates, urging trust in God at this very difficult time.”

He prayed that the Almighty God will comfort her husband, family and loved ones, while granting her soul eternal rest.

The Premier News had earlier informed about the death of Hon. Risikat Adegeye, confirmed by her son Mr. George Folarin on Tuesday.

Folarin, said the ex-lawmaker died after a brief illness.
