According to former governor Abdullahi Ganduje, he would have been able to smack Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso if they had crossed paths at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to reports, Kwankwaso met with President Bola Tinubu on Friday at Aso Rock. After a meeting with Tinubu on the security situation in Kano State following the demolition operation launched by the government of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Ganduje expressed his unhappiness while addressing reporters at the State House.
“I am aware that he is here, but we have not yet spoken. I probably could have hit him if we had actually met.
According to Ganduje, the demolition activity was carried out without conducting any inquiry or providing any notice in accordance with the Land Use Act’s restrictions.
The former governor claimed he petitioned Usman Alkali Baba, the inspector general of police, and spoke at length about the situation while reporting it to the president.
