As the dispute over who is the author of and the rightful owner of the hit song Machala deepens, popular comedian Carter Efe has accused his estranged music collaborator, Berri Tiga, of pandering to the public’s pity.

He said that Hotkid had to be cut off the song, but their falling out has gotten so bad that the former has unfollowed the latter on Instagram.

Berri Tiga has gone on to say Carter and popular comedian Sydney talker offered him the sum of 100 thousand naira to buy the song, he also said that carter didn’t promote him as a collaborator of the hit song machala even though he wrote 100 percent of the song he also stated carter offered a 90 10 percentage over the song but he didn’t agree and they both agreed on a 70 30 even though Berri Tiga managers advised him on a 60 40 but he said since carter has the responsibility of promoting the song it was fine on a 70 30 percentage deal. Berri Tiga said his pain is not to have been promoted with the hit song and he wants nothing more to do with the argument over the right owner of machala.
