Former Big Brother Naija star, Cynthia Nwadiora, better known as Cee-C, has revealed that her refusal to play by strategy prevented her from winning the reality show.

Speaking on a recent Pulse podcast, the lawyer-turned-media personality admitted that being “real” rather than strategic limited her chances on the platform.

“I did not win Big Brother Naija maybe because I was myself and I could not stick to a strategy,” she confessed. “But having been on the show twice and also watched the show sometimes, I will say it’s very important to have a strategy and stick to it. Be serious about it.”

Cee-C, who emerged runner-up in the 2018 edition and second runner-up in the 2023 All-Stars season, urged future housemates to keep their focus sharp. “If you’re going on the show to win the money, your eyes should be on the prize. Don’t loose guard,” she stressed.

She further advised contestants to define their goals—whether for money, friendship, or relationships—and stay committed since “the organisers don’t give scripts.”
