Chelsea have agreed to release Maurizio Sarri from his contract, so he can take the Juventus job, Sport Italia reports.

It is understood that Sarri’s agent, Fali Ramadani, had a lengthy meeting with Chelsea directors in London and received positive feedback from the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Sarri won his first piece of silverware on Wednesday night, beating Arsenal 4-1 in Baku to lift the Europa League.

It’s believed Chelsea are keeping a promise to let him go if he still wanted to leave after the final.

In his only season at Stamford Bridge, Sarri also secured third place in the Premier League and reached the Carabao Cup Final.
