CHRISTIAN SHOULD BE APPOINTED AS SGF, THE GROUP INFORMS TINUBU.

Dr. Abubakar of Abdullahi, Director General and National Coordinator of the Bola Tinubu Support Organization (KUSO), suggested on Monday that President-elect Bola Tinubu select Christians to the offices of Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) (CoS).

Dr. Kuso emphasized that the chance to solve the problems of national unification was provided by the All Progressives Congress (APC) winning the presidential and national assembly elections on February 25, 2023.

In particular, he was troubled by the divisive campaigns run by opposition parties in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima, who are now the president-elect and vice president-elect, respectively, on the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

At this time, some specific suggestions may be required. It would be necessary to allocate and reserve for Christians the positions of Chief of Staff to the President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

“Because both the President and the Vice President are Muslims, no Muslim should wish to hold either of these positions. Opportunists can assert that religion wasn’t given much thought in the past.

To strategically reduce religious conflict in the nation, this sort of unbalanced reality must be remedied.

It is entirely natural to nominate Christians as Chief of Staff (CoS) and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), respectively, to appease Christians and foster inclusivity with a Muslim president and vice president.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs to understand that the Muslim-Muslim ticket he sponsored, which won the 2023 Presidential election, will exacerbate religious divisions among Nigerians, which is something that should be avoided.

“In the near future, a Christian-Christian ticket would be realistic and possible thanks to a successfully well-managed Muslim-Muslim ticket.

That is the only way, he said, to convince Nigerians that the Islamization plan, which has become a rallying cry for the opposition, is nothing more than the delusional declaration of some people and organizations.

Assuring Nigerians that “Tinubu will deliver the advantages of democracy in all sectors of nation building,” Dr. Abdullahi Abubakar also expressed gratitude to them for supporting the APC.
