At a meeting called by David Umahi, Minister of Works, an agreement was achieved.
Cement is reportedly being sold in the Idimu region of Lagos state for as much as N10,000 and N11,000, notwithstanding the original arrangement, according to reports from The Nation.
Furthermore, a Legit poll found that the agreed-upon pricing have not yet been adopted.
The previously stated publication was informed by a dealer named Kunle that a bag of cement was still being sold for more than N7,000.
“All the talk about N7,000 is just in the media; I still pay my suppliers more than N7,000,” he remarked.
These are the current cement market prices determined by the conducted survey.
