The world’s highest-paid deceased celebrity is none other than the late American musician Michael Jackson, often known as the “King of Pop,” according to Forbes magazine’s 2023 annual list, which was made public on Tuesday.
As can be seen from the list, Jackson was thought to be worth $115 million. For the first time in the last four years, Jackson has taken the top rank.
Closely trailing in second place with an estimated net worth of $100 million is Jackson’s late father-in-law, Elvis Presley. Notably, the top 13 list included other departed celebrities like Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Prince, and John Lennon, who together earned around $470 million in revenue in the previous year.
It’s important to note that this number represents a notable 70% drop from 2022.
Based on their pretax income from sales, licensing agreements, streams, and other sources of revenue between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023, the late singers were rated.
