Ten CONMEBOL nations and six CONCACAF sides will compete in the 2024 edition of the Copa America, which will be held in the United States.

The competition will be jointly organized by the two confederations, according to CONCACAF, the confederation for North, Central, and Caribbean America.

Concacaf nations will have the chance to enter this competition through the Concacaf Nations League in 2023/24.

“Historical and emotional ties bind CONMEBOL and CONCACAF together. But above all, the love of soccer and other sports that is endemic to America binds us together. Alejandro Domnguez, president of CONMEBOL, declared, “We are resolved to revive and extend our collaborative activities and projects.

“We want soccer and its principles to expand and strengthen throughout the hemisphere, and we want this love to translate into larger and better competitions. Without a doubt, both confederations support the idea of becoming large, and we will pursue this approach.

More will come.
