An Ondo State Magistrate Court, sitting in Akure, the state capital, has remanded a man, Abidemi Oguntuyi, in police care for supposedly stabbing his co-occupant, recognized as Abiye Friday, to death.
The respondent was asserted to have committed the offense on September 6, 2022, at around 11:00 am at Ibaka Quarters, Akungba-Akoko, in Akoko South-West locaL Government Region of the state.
It was accumulated that the episode happened when the departed, was attempting to resolve a contention between the respondent and his sibling.
He was subsequently charged to court on two charges irritating on murder and endeavored murder.

As indicated by the indictment, the offenses negated Sections 319 and 355 of the Criminal Code Law, Cap 37 Vol. II Law of Ondo State, 2006.
The police examiner, Mr Simon Wada advised the court to remand the litigant at the Olokuta Restorative focus forthcoming the result of counsel from the Overseer of Public Indictments.
The litigant’s direction, Adeola Kayode petitioned God for a deferment to empower him to record a counter testimony to the investigator’s composed application.
In his decision, the Judge, Damilola Sekoni, requested that the litigant be remanded in police guardianship forthcoming a decision on the remand application. He concluded the case till October 7, 2022, for the decision.
