Not less than 306 stranded Nigerians has returned home from the United Arab Emirates due to coronavirus pandemic.

This was made known via twitter on Wednesday, NIDCOM said the evacuees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 8:44 am.

Some of the evacuees disembarked in Abuja while the others proceeded to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The returnees, who tested negative for coronavirus before departure, are expected to self-isolate for 14 days according to the protocol of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The evacuees are also expected to take another Covid-19 test before rejoining the society.
