Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, declared on Monday that the group will keep protesting every day for a very long time.
The party would still move to court to contest the results of the presidential election, according to Atiku, who said as he led the group on a protest march toward the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters.
The party also gave the Commission a letter of protest.
Barrister Festus Okoye, the national commissioner for information and voter education, accepted it.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the APC was proclaimed the election’s victor with 8,794,726 votes, defeating Atiku who received 6,984,520 votes and Peter Obi of the Labour party who received 6,101,533 votes.
However the PDP and its allies in the Labour Party have accused INEC of corruption and called the 2023 election the worst Nigeria has ever seen since democracy was restored in 1999.

The PDP chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the former national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, the governor of Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal, the former president of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, Kola Ologbondiyan, Daniel Bwacha, and Senator Dino Melaye, among others, all took part in the demonstration.
