A Dangote truck fully loaded with cement falls on moving vehicles in Ota, ogun state today Friday.
According to an eye witness who do not want his to be said the Dangote truck suddenly developed break failure there by hitting the moving vehicles which lead to server injuries
“In the process, several vehicles and motorcycles in its front and by its side were hit, knocked before it eventually fell on one of them..”
Nine casualties were involved, but it can’t be ascertained if they are all in he Dangote truck or among the vehicles hit, knocked, the the truck fell on.
The body of the dead victims has been deposited at Ifo General Hospital Mortuary, while the injured are receiving treatment at the General Hospital, Ota.
it took the combined effort of the POLICE, TRACE, FRSC, NSCDC and SO SAFE Corps to prevent a mob from setting the truck on fire..
Moreover, the Dangote truck driver had escaped while efforts are on going to to trans load the cement into another truck so as to ease the lifting of the truck from the vehicle.
TRACE Corps urges drivers of articulated vehicle to please ensure the proper maintenance of their vehicles because of its consequences..
