Davido Clashes with Social Commentator Over Album Critique, Issues Stern Warning

Afrobeats sensation Davido has issued a stern warning to popular social media commentator, Radiogad, over criticism of his upcoming album, 5ive.

 Recall that Radiogad publicly bashed a snippet from the project, questioning its quality and urging Davido to quit music. His remarks sparked an intense backlash from the singer.

In a leaked direct message (DM) exchange on X, Davido confronted Radiogad, accusing him of discrediting his hard work and demanding he delete the critical video review. The singer also warned Radiogad to refrain from making further posts about him.

Following the encounter, Radiogad raised concerns about his safety, sharing screenshots of their conversation and urging the public to hold Davido responsible should anything happen to him or his family.

“Davido came into my DM last night and threatened to ‘Kpai’ me. Guys, if anything happens to me or my family, just know Davido is behind it,” Radiogad wrote.

Emphasizing his right to free speech, he declared that he would not be silenced and attached evidence of the singer’s messages to his post.
