Davido has received condolence letters from Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, Bola Tinubu, Peter Obi, and their counterparts in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party, respectively.

The music star’s three-year-old son reportedly perished in a swimming pool at his father’s home on Banana Island in Lagos State on Monday.
Using his verified Twitter account, Atiku responded to the tragic incident on Tuesday by writing, “My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I ask God to give them courage and solace.

Through his verified Twitter account, Tinubu also expressed his response, writing, “Oluremi and I send our profound and sincere sympathies to David, Chioma, and the entire Adeleke family over the awful loss of their son, Ifeanyi. The family is in our hearts and in our prayers. I pray that the Lord will give them the courage and strength they need to deal with this terrible loss.

Obi asked God to cure Davido and his partner Chioma in his message.

“I offer Davido and Chioma my profound sympathies on the passing of their son Ifeanyi. The pains they are currently experiencing are beyond my ability to even begin to imagine. May they get peace, strength, and healing from God at this challenging time. On his verified Twitter profile, the former governor of Anambra State said, “My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Approximately eight of the singer’s domestic helpers, according to the authorities, have been requested for an interview.

Hundeyin continued, “No arrest yet, but domestic workers have been brought in for questioning.

In the meantime, the PDP chapter in Osun State has put a week’s worth of political activities on hold due to the unfortunate death of Davido’s kid.

In a letter of sympathy sent to the Adeleke family on Tuesday, PDP Caretaker Chairman Adekunle Akindele called the tragedy “a very unfortunate occurrence.”

In order to show his sympathy for the family, he consequently ordered all party organs and committees to cease operations.

Davido and Chioma Rowland’s baby Ifeanyi drowned on Monday when his parents were away from the house and leaving him with his caregivers.

According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the state’s police public relations officer, roughly eight domestic workers have been brought in for questioning on the terrible incident.

In the July 2022 election for governor of Osun State, Davido’s uncle Ademola Adeleke of the PDP defeated Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress with the help of a number of influential individuals.
