Deadly Attack in Ojantele: Over 20 Killed, Many Missing

Several persons have been killed and many others are missing following a deadly attack by suspected herdsmen in Ojantele, a community along the Abuja-Otukpo road.

Eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen stormed the area on Friday, opening fire on residents and causing widespread panic. Preliminary reports indicate that over 20 people have been killed, while several others remain unaccounted for.

Adams Ogwola, Chairman of Apa Local Government Area, confirmed the attack on Friday afternoon, adding that authorities were still working to ascertain the full extent of the casualties.

Residents have been urged to remain indoors as security forces move into the area to restore order and investigate the incident.
