Nigerian whistleblower Bristol Isaac, currently in detention, has publicly rejected claims linking him to PIDOMNigeria or the 99% OPPRESSED Twitter account. He has also denied allegations of involvement in internet fraud that have been brought against him by Nigerian police.

Isaac faces nine charges, including accusations that he unlawfully mobilized public support for recent nationwide hunger protests. In his statement from detention, he vehemently denied any connection to PIDOMNigeria, TRUTHFULLY 83, or the Twitter account 99% OPPRESSED. He also refuted involvement in internet fraud.

He detailed his current sources of income as betting and cryptocurrency trading, specifically mentioning his crypto accounts with Trust Wallet and Binance Exchange. Isaac provided his bank account details for transparency:

– **First Bank:** 3069007043, Account Name: Bristol Isaac Tamundibifiri
– **Access Bank:** 1807677192, Account Name: Isaac Bristol Tamundibifiri
– **OPay:** 8039366740, Account Name: Bristol Isaac

Isaac also addressed the controversy surrounding a WhatsApp account registered under the name Zico Mento. He explained that the phone number associated with this account, 09090447445, was purchased from an unknown individual due to network issues with his MTN line. The SIM card, bought between 2020 and 2021, was not registered in his name, and he used it primarily for internet services and calls.

He accused the police of stealing his belongings during his arrest at Osmosis Hotel in Port Harcourt, including a small notebook with sensitive information. Isaac claimed he did not resist arrest and destroyed his phone because the officers, who were not in uniform and acted like kidnappers, did not identify themselves properly.

Isaac stated he has used his cryptocurrency dealings solely for legitimate purposes and does not know the individuals he transacts with personally. He emphasized that he does not have any foreign phone numbers or WhatsApp accounts registered with such numbers.

In his statement, Isaac maintained his innocence, asserting that the claims against him are unfounded and that he has not engaged in any illicit activities.
