On Wednesday, April 17, Time Magazine released its 2019 list of 100 most influential people in the world. The list which is currently a major topic of discussion features some of the world’s most talented and highly respected individuals on the planet. The list of the most influential people in the world was categorized under five categories including: Leaders, pioneers, artists, icons and titans.
Some of the most popular people were mentioned and praised for positively contributing to the world. Among the top people who made the list are president of the United States, Donald Trump, superstar, Taylor Swift, soccer god, Mohamed Salah, American actor, Dwayne Johnson and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed.
Some other notable world leaders that made the list include: China’s Xi Jinping, Pope Francis, Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan, New Zealand’s PM Jacinda Ardern, as well as the prime minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed. Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has added yet another statuette to her impressive board of honour.
This time, the beautiful filmmaker was honoured by the United Nations (UN) and recognized as one of the most influential people from Africa.
