DON’T FAIL TINUBU IN 2023, SAYS SANWO-OLU TO APC LEADERS IN LAGOS WEST.

Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, campaigned in Lagos West Senatorial District on Friday, encouraging APC leaders not to fail the party’s Presidential Candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 general elections.

Sanwo-Olu made the request during the Lagos West 1 Senatorial District Mega Rally, which was held at the LAMATA/BRT Bus Park, which is located in the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area Secretariat.

The governor was joined in the campaign by the party’s Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, as well as APC chieftains and candidates for various electoral offices in the zone, which includes Alimosho, Agege, Ifako-Ijaiye, Oshodi-Isolo, Mushin, and Ikeja LGAs.

According to him, party leaders and members in the zone must use their large voting population to mobilize support for Tinubu and other candidates.

“I want to thank each and every one of you. Your eyes are my eyes, and my eyes are your eyes, Lagos West 1. Your eyes are Asiwaju’s eyes. Asiwaju’s ‘rural home’ is here. Please do not break our deal.

“Let us vote in accordance with our agreement. Don’t let some deceivers fool you. Lagos is all yours.

“By the Grace of God, we shall all devour the fruits of our labor here. Let us work together to complete the task.

“I want to thank you all for coming out in such big numbers this afternoon to support your party, our party, and all of our candidates,” he stated.

Sanwo-Olu, who is also running for reelection in 2023, advised citizens to vote for APC candidates in all elections, including the Presidential, Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly.

He praised the ruling party’s support from Ndigbo, South South, Arewa, and other organizations.

“This is your place, make sure you go to all our marketmen and ladies, make sure you vote in all of the elections.

“Better Lagos is rising, Greater Lagos is rising, it is rising, I love you all. “I love you, great youths,” he added.

Sanwo-Olu urged APC leaders and members to launch a house-to-house campaign to mobilize registered voters to acquire their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.

A number of APC chieftains, candidates, and members, among others, attended the huge gathering.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the APC has divided the Lagos West Senatorial District (comprising ten local government areas) into two (Lagos West 1 and II) to facilitate its campaign.

The Lagos West II Senatorial District includes the following Local Governments: Ojo, Amuwo-Odofin, Badagry, and Ajeromi Ifelodun. (NAN)
