DON’T RUSH PRESIDENT TINUBU. GOWON ADVISES NIGERIANS NOT TO ANTICIPATE EXACT OUTCOMES JUST YET.

General Yakubu Gowon, the former head of state, has asked Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu and give him time to address the myriad problems plaguing the country.

After meeting with the President at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday, February 21, the elder statesman made these remarks in an interview with reporters.

“Well, I was informing the President that no Nigerian leader who is able to travel there will be unaware of all that has been reported about him. However, based on what I’ve heard, seen, and seen in the media, among other sources, I believe the government is making every effort to address the numerous issues facing the nation, but what about Nigerians specifically?

All that is possible, in my opinion, is for Nigerians to understand that the president needs time to do his tasks. Furthermore, it is too soon to declare that the ideal outcome will be attained right away.
