Mustapha Ari, a well-known leader of the terrorist organization Boko Haram, left the group and set up camp with the warriors of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP).
Chief Imam Ari is the leader of the Mandara Mountain-based Boko Haram branch.
But the terrorist chief has now left the Boko Haram organization and joined the ISWAP forces, bringing a number of militants with him.
Reports state that Ari skillfully coordinated many attacks in Gwoza, Banki, and Bama.
