DSS AND NCS HAVE A CUSTODY DISPUTE INVOLVIN EMEFIELE

On Tuesday, July 25, there was drama at the Federal High Court in Lagos when agents of the Department of State Services (DSS) and representatives of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) clashed over Godwin Emefiele’s custody.

The DSS presented an accusation of illegally possessing firearms and ammunition in front of Justice Nicholas Oweibo, the vacation judge, on behalf of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) suspended Governor.

After the hearing, however, the DSS and NCS were seen arguing about who should have custody of the troubled suspended CBN governor.
