E-NAIRA SPEED WALLET RETURNS TO GOOGLE STORE

The eNaira Speed Wallet app is back on Google Store, 24 hours after its disappearance.

Recall that yesterday, the app went missing on Google Store after its launch on Monday. The app had met with criticism as users struggled to link their emails and BVNs.

Before it went offline, the app had been downloaded by over 100,000 people.

At the time the app went missing, the CBN spokesperson, Mr. Osita Nwanisobi pointed out that an upgrade was ongoing.

The app which went missing Wednesday morning was reinstated around 1.00pm today.

The app info showed that it was last updated on Monday, 25th October.

A mobile developer had stated that the app could have gone missing from the store for a myriad of reasons. According to the developer, it could also be because the app has flouted one of Google’s policies or because the developers took it down.
