Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State have declared firm support for the newly inaugurated Caretaker Committee, describing its emergence as a turning point for the party’s revival.

At a high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Abakaliki, party heavyweights praised the National Working Committee (NWC) for appointing Barrister Ekuma Emmanuel as chairman of the 13-member committee. They insisted that the decision has restored unity, confidence, and direction to the party ahead of upcoming political contests.

The meeting drew top figures from the 13 local government areas, including the South-East National Vice Chairman, Chidiebere Goodluck Egwu; the 2023 deputy governorship candidate, Senator Paulinus Igwe Nwagu; former Acting National Secretary, Onwe S.
