The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship Election, Nyesom Wike, has said threats by his counterpart in the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, to “isolate” him until the elections were over, has exposed the plot by the ruling party to take undue advantage of security agents.

Wike said this at an ongoing inauguration of the PDP campaign council, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

He said the Kano State Governor was not his match saying “Between me and a man who has been caught pocketing dollars, who deserves to be isolated?”

The Kano State Governor had while briefing the media, in Abuja, on Monday said the APC would isolate the Rivers State Governor until the September 19 Edo State governorship election were over.

He boasted that the APC campaign council he heads had all it took to ensure victory at the polls in Edo.
