EFCC DETAINS SIX YOUNGSTERS FOR ALLEGED ONLINE FRAUD.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) agents have detained six alleged online fraudsters in Abuja.

Based on reliable information about their alleged criminal activities, they were detained on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in an early-morning sting operation at the Jahi and Dawaki axis of the Federal Capital Territory, or FCT.

The suspects were identified by the EFCC as Emmanuel Ndubuisi, Solomon Tochukwu, Okotie Kingsley, Benedict Akor, Samuel Anosike, and Samson Iffy in a statement released on Wednesday, April 19.

“Among the items found on them were a Mercedes Benz, two Lexus RX350s, and a Toyota Camry.

Other items listed in the statement include laptops, cell phones, one passport good for travel abroad, and an expensive wristwatch.
