The mother of a 28-year-old musician, Oghenemine Ogidi, has shared a heartbreaking story following the fatal shooting of her son. The artist, popularly known as OG Millan, died during a police operation in Delta State. This tragic event has caused massive public outcry, especially after a viral video appeared online. In the footage, the victim seems to be restrained and begging for his life before the shots are fired.

During a visit from human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the grieving mother revealed that this is not her first encounter with such a loss. She claims that she has now lost two children to police shootings in different incidents. Through her tears, she cried: “My two children were killed by the police.” She explained that her first son was taken in 2022, and now her younger son is gone too. This double tragedy has left her questioning how she will survive the pain.

Currently, ASP Nuhu Usman is in detention while authorities look into the fatal shooting. The police stated that their team acted on specific intelligence regarding a suspect with a firearm. They reported that the deceased was found with a Beretta pistol and ammunition at the time of the arrest. While the police continue their formal investigations, the community remains focused on the footage that tells a different story. The case highlights ongoing concerns regarding the conduct of officers during arrests. As the family seeks answers, the demand for justice grows louder.
