Sheihk Musa Aloba (RTA), speaking as Muslims around the world commemorate Jamuiyat Nasir Al-Fridaous Al-Tijaniyyah leader Maulud Nabiyy, has appealed for peace in the nation and cautioned Muslims against pursuing trivial goals.
This was said by Maolana Al-Sayyid Musa Aloba at the 2022 Grand Taniat Rosul, which marked the culmination of the group’s operations and this year’s Maulud Nabiyy festival at its headquarters in the capital city of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Sheihk Aloba urged Muslims in Nigeria and around the world to use the anniversary to reflect deeply on the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) honorable life and the message of peace, love, tolerance, humility, fairness, and justice that he preached in both words and deeds, according to a statement from the group’s media adviser.
In his message to the Muslim faithful, the Grand Sheihk of Jamuiyat Nasir Al-Fridaous Al-Tijaniyyah was clear. He urged them to avoid hatred and to exercise care and caution as Nigeria prepares for general elections the next year.
He demonstrated how man’s unrestrained pursuit of material goods is changing the spread of Islam around the world by tracing the history of the diversions that keep real believers from fearing Allah.
Therefore, he counseled the Muslims to recommit themselves to Allah’s commands, which included avoiding any sort of mischief that would disturb the peace and harmony of the community.
The well-known Sufi master joined millions of believers in celebrating the Mawlid al-Nabawi, and he urged Nigerians to reaffirm their trust in God and increase their prayers for the country to overcome its difficulties.
On the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar, Muslims commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) birth anniversary, a day that has spiritual significance in Islam.
